Sentier Défi Santé du Cégep de Matane - Fitness trail

An easy four-season, 6,5-kilometres trail for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.  Connects the Cegep de Matane with Rue du Sault and Rue du Buisson.  This community project was developped to offer residents and visitors a convenient fitness walking trail.  Walking at a steady pace of 100 to 120 steps per minute, five times a week for 30 minutes, improves both physical and mental health.  Trail access is free, with parking available at either end, on Rue du Sault or Rue du Buisson, or on the grounds of the Cegep.
