Born in 1939, Grosses-Roches is a peaceful municipality that offers breathtaking landscapes and gorgeous sunsets. It covers a territory of 63,95 km2. Its name comes from its topography, crowded with lots of small round brown rocks.
People come to Grosses-Roches to admire impressive hills and cliffs, to enjoy sea kayaking (Route bleue) or to walk around the shore. You can also find a pier, a launching ramp and an access to the shoreline.
